I fell in love with these guys a long time ago. I reverted back to Aida for it, and am glad I did. It's 14 ct. Misty Taupe from Charles Craft, which is what the model was stitched on. It's super stiff, which I don't like, but the colors sure do pop!

DeleteI do not know how to cross stich, but I fell in love with this picture. I have the pattern and I am looking for someone to cross stich it for me, can you please tell me how difficult it is to do. I don't know how much to offer someone to do it. I don't want to insult them by offering something to low if it is extremely difficult and will take a long time to do. Or maybe it is easy to do. I really have no idea. Maybe you could give me an idea of how much I should pay.
ReplyDeleteWhen asked "how much" to stitch something, this is how I figure it. A penny a stitch. I don't count every stitch, I multiply the width and height, divide by 100 and that is my dollar amount. (for this piece that would be $179.49) plus fabric (probably around $16 for this piece on linen) and .50 for every color in the chart.
